Jennifer Fletcher & Christopher Preece
Christopher Preece trained as musician at Trinity College of Music. As a jazz musician he has performed at Ronnie Scott's, Pizza Express Jazz Club, The Stables, and many other venues across the UK, Germany, Japan, and Canada. He has played live on BBC Radio 2, Jazz Fm, and BBC London. Since graduating he also has performed in Tangere Arts production of Noel Grieg's "Tin Soldier" (Manchester's Royal Exchange, The Unicorn Theatre, Bath's The Egg, HullTruck etc) and GRAEAE Theatre's award winning "The Iron Man" (Greenwich and Docklands International Festival, Brighton Festival, Bristol Harbour Festival etc), Boris Vian's "Froth on the Daydream" at the Cochrane Theatre, and as well as co-directing and performing in Dreckly's three pieces. He is also an educator, providing teaching and workshops privately and in schools.
Alongside her work with Dreckly, Jennifer Fletcher has worked on a variety of external choreographic and performance projects. Her most recent venture being movement director for Froth on a Daydream, directed by Youn Jee Choi at the Cochrane Theatre. Performance work includes; female lead in short dance film Mysteres 3D, BINGE by Lydia Fraser-ward (BAC, V&A lates and The Basement, Brighton), a new dance film work for Cathy Waller currently in post-production, Ezrulie, where are my sweets? for SHADEseasons and music video Take me home for A.Human. Jennifer is currently working with Ticket Theatre Dance on a new production and teaches regularly in London.
Alexandrina Hemsley
Alexandrina studied at Laban, gaining a First Class Honours in BA Dance Theatre and was awarded a postgraduate studentship from the AHRC to dance with EDge10. She has performed works by Matteo Fargion, Rosemary Lee, Xavier Le Roy and Mårten Spångberg, and is currently doing silent battle with books and her (many) selves as she completes her MA in Contemporary Dance. She is also part of the Hayward Gallery performance thinktank Encounter and is part of Collective Movement at the Southbank Centre.
Helena Webb
Helena Webb is a freelance choreographer and performer. Graduated from Laban in 2009 with a 1st class Hons degree in Dance Theatre. As a performer Helena has worked on productions with Xavier le Roy, Rosemary Butcher and YouMeBumBumTrain . In her own creative practice Helena is interested in personalised and interactive performances and the use of improvisation in all creative stages. Helena is also a member of the Emerging Dance Artists in Residence Programme at the South Bank Centre.
Libby Smith
Libby graduated from Laban with a BA in dance theatre and has a keen interest in performance. She has worked with Kerry Nicholls, Susan Sentler and Lyndsey McConville. Libby has also spent time studying in New York at the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance.
Peter Randall
Pete has always found music easy. The bass called to him like a lover from another lifetime. The feel of antique wood between his fingers sent a rush through his like no other. He finds sharing the stage with lesser musicians both a chore and a burden. He was contractually obliged to take time out from playing with Martin Speake, Bobby Wellins and Geoff Simkins, and studying with Steve Watts to do "Am I... Naked?"
Rosanna Wallis
Rosanna is currently studying at Laban. She has worked with artists such as Rosemary Butcher, Zoi Dimitriou and has had performance experience with StopGAP Dance Company. She is passionate about how dance can bring communities together and communicate across cultural barriers. She has been involved in such projects at home and abroad.
Steve Pringle
Steve is an eclectic musician with passions for Jazz, Electronica, Funk and other such grooves. He is currently in his 4th Year at Trinity College of Music as a Jazz pianist, working with Simon Purcell, Martin Speake, and Liam Noble. He has a love-hate relationship with Macbook Pros. Watch this relationship unfold onstage.
Tara Silverthorn
Tara gained a First at Laban. She has just completed national and international touring with Transi-tions Dance Company, and is currently completing her MA Dance Performance. She has also presented her own work at What Now in Siobhan Davies Studios (Spring 2009) and danced for Naomi Lefebvre Sell's PhD work, Dharmakaya which was performed at Laban Theatre and Giessen Tanzart Festival, Germany (Summer 2008).
